Osgiliath

Osgiliath was a city on the river Anduin. It was the old capital city of Gondor.
Founded by Elendil and his sons at the end of the Second Age, Osgiliath straddled the Great River Anduin at a point approximately half way between the cities of Minas Anor to the west and Minas Ithil (Morgul) to the east. For over a thousand years, Osgiliath was the capital of Gondor, as well as its largest and most important city. The beginning of the city's decline came in the 15th century, when in T.A. 1437 it was sacked and burned, after a siege, by the rebel Castamir's forces during the Kin-strife. The Great Plague of T.A. 1636 led to further depopulation, and the city began to fall into ruin; the capital was moved to the more secure Minas Anor. Over the next few hundred years, Gondor endured many military defeats east of the Anduin, especially the fall of Minas Ithil in 2002. Osgiliath became vulnerable to attack and was widely believed to be haunted, as its population continued to shrink. Osgiliath was finally abandoned by the remaining civilian population after being captured (temporarily) by Orcs in the 25th century.
Over the centuries leading up to the War of the Ring, the western part of the ruined city was under the control of Gondor, and was at times provided with a military garrison as a means of defending the crossing of the Anduin. The eastern part, with Ithilien, was disputed territory, under Gondor's control for most of the rule of Denethor II, but occupied by Sauron's forces just before the War.
When, during the War, Sauron launched a full-scale invasion of Gondor west of the Anduin, Osgiliath eventually fell to his forces, but was reclaimed by Gondor after Sauron's ultimate defeat a few weeks later.
After the destruction of the One Ring, Osgiliath was rebuilt, but it never became as great as it once was. Minas Tirith remained the capital and King's city.

A small army of man on horses are seen entering the city, all was calm, there were many people dead on the streets
Archers, assume stand position, horseman! gather before the archers, stay alert! 5 of you come with me we shall lay them a trap! Yrobryn commanded just before galloping with 5 other to the interior of the city

Daëron enters the city. He sees Yrobryn and follows him to try to talk to him, he catches him.

Daëron, after hearing the drums, he takes out his sword, stands ready for battle.
Get ready, watch out for archers. Daëron continues galloping, with some fear.

Suddenly a group of orc archers emerge from some buildings and shoot at the group of men
Stand down! Yrobryn screamed jumping from the horse
Immediatly 2 of the 5 horseman fall from his horses, already dead, as the others survive they could see 5 hordes of orcs emerging.
We need to return! Yrobryn said
Immediatly the archers shot once more to the men still there

Daëron puts his staff near Yrobryn and the others and uses his power to make a shield, protecting them from the arrows.

Yrobryn and the others jump to their horses and start riding back, preparing the trap, the prcs follow them back
As they are in the middle of the entrance courtyard Yrobryn shouts:
Now! warriors of Minas Tirith! ride them down!
Immediatly the cavalary archers fire their arrows killing many of them,
After, the horseman start running over the last orcs killing them all.
Warriors! return to the White city! we cannot hold them all Yrobryn commanded when he looks to the river and sees many ships filled with orcs

Yrobryn and 2 other warriors, a wizard man and an wood elf, enter the area, few dead men were still in the streets, the ones missing ended as orc food.
As the armies enter the urban area they slow down, looking for enemies.
Stay sharp men! This orcs are dangerous scum! Yrobryn alerted the others

All of a sudden 20 0rc warriors with swords and spears enter the cenario from the oposite position. On the head of the hordes was a cave troll.
The orcs with spear position themselves on the front, making a defensive line against Gondorian knights.
Archers!! Yrobryn shouted
Shoot at the lancers! Cavalary charge after the spearman fall! He continued
Tower guards! carve your spears on that cave troll as soon as you can after the cavalry charge! he finished "the shouting"
Daëron, my friend, help with the troll. he said to Daëron just before turning to Finwe and: My elf friend, take care of those archers with your army Yrobryn asked the mirkwood elf immediatly when around 40 orc archers emerged from the buildings windows and tops

Daëron said yes by shaking his head, he rides near the troll and starts talking to him, trying to convince him to help defeating the orcs. The troll accepted, Daëron commanded the troops to stop attacking.

The troll swang his fists to the orcs, killing them and launching some to the air. Daëron gets near Yrobryn.

Daëron after entering the city looks up and sees archers.
Guards, shields up! After saying this, the orcs start shooting arrows, Daëron makes a magical shield in front of him, stoping the arrows from hitting him, after this, the troll, starting grabing some rocks and throws them at the orcs, killing them.

After the troll killed the archers, more orcs with swords appear from the front and the sides. The troll killed some of them, but he could not take much more damage and died, Daëron had twenty orcs in front of him, he approaches them, puts his sword in the holder, touched the orcs with the staff and did a lightning that shot the orc back, pushing him against other orcs.

The tower guards started attacking the orcs coming from the sides and Daëron from the front, he started running to the middle of the orcs and while running he was hitting them with the staff and the sword. When he got surrounded, he stoped, looked at them, touched one of them and very fast he did a telekinesis that allowed him to throw the orc.
We need archers!

The elves archers who were behind the warriors, began to climb the buildings and trees, on the orders of Finwe.
"Fire on those damn orcs, kill all of them, first kill the archers" said Finwe hitting into another.

As the brave men and elves attacked the enemies with all their power, dark clouds begun to cover the city...Empowering the orcs, they could become stroger as they now fought in the middle of the darkness...but nothing much difered as they were slain by the guardians of the free ppl: Yrobryn,Däeron and Finwe.
All hail this warriors for they have retaken the city of Osgiliath!

The three noble warriors were celebrating the great victory drinking a large mug of ale, like old times.

After taking the ale with his fellow warriors Yrobryn rose up to his horse, mounting it.
My friends i shall leave now,there is much to do now, preparations for anything that may come, farewell brothers of arms.Yrobryn said

As he was leaving the city there could be seen ppl arriving, comming from the white city, by horse or by foot the ppl that ran or others were returning to the ruined city to once more reestablish its glory!

The people of Osgiliath where calm and the streets where full of people. Sudenly a guard sees a litle army of orcs coming to Osgiliath. The guard started running to tell the others.
Orcs! Orcs are coming this way, get ready! he shouts
All the guards started running, to get ready for the attack. The archers that were at the top saw Daëron and the army coming their way.
Don't fear them, we have help from Minas Tirith!

Follow us.They follow them. They took them to the back gates, from where they could intercept them.

Towerguards in front, swords man, 2nd line, archers at the back horseman attack only when i tell you. comands Daëron. The army takes the assigned positions. The towerguards, running towards the orcs, took down many of their shields, the swordsman started imediatly attacking when their shields where down.
